Design Inspo | The Global Trend

I’ve always been inspired by global design, and I am particularly drawn to the geometric African and South American-inspired prints that are everywhere right now.

I recently chatted about Greenery and ’80s-Inspired Geometry, after I covered the top design trends of 2017 in this post. Today, global design takes the stage.

Stateside, mudcloth, shibori and hmong are definitely having a moment, as in Erin‘s gorgeous home.

Over here, the global influence is focused more on bolder geometrics and lots of colour. I’m into all of the above.
