If you’re stuck for wall art and low on budget, this simple DIY poster frame is a great solution. It takes twenty minutes and costs less than five pounds.
Supplies Needed
- Rounded wood trim, cut into four equal lengths, all slightly wider than your poster
- String
- Poster
- Tools: drill & saw

DIY Poster Frame Tutorial
Sand the edges of your wood trim.
Drill holes two inches in from the ends.
Punch corresponding holes in your poster and thread the string through, sandwiching the poster between the wood at both ends. You could add a line of glue to secure it, but it’s not necessary.
I like the untreated wood, but you could stain or paint it too.
A DIY poster frame is an easy, affordable way to add large-scale art, and it work for prints in almost any size.
