I’m part of a Mood Board Collective, where several interiors bloggers take the same inspiration image and use it to create a mood board. This month, I chose the inspiration image; a navy, coral and gold colour scheme that I used to create an industrial dining room. It’s spawned some gorgeous room designs from the other guys too.
Emmerson & Fifteenth | Glam Industrial Dining Room Mood Board
I love what everyone came up with month. For my mood board, I paired glamourous gold accents with industrial pieces to create a moody dining room design.
Bowl – Butikken // Pendants – Maisons du Monde
Painting – Amazon // Paint – Hale Navy by Benjamin Moore
Plant – Patch // Plant Stand – The Little Botanical
Concrete Dining Table – West Elm
Sideboard – Made.com
Cow Hide Dining Chairs – Where Saints Go
Rug – iRugs // Floor Lamp – Bert Frank
Although this dining room blends modern glam with industrial design styles, the scheme still feels pulled together thanks to a largely neutral colour palette with just two statement splashes of colour: moody navy blue walls and the striking vintage-style rug.
The cowhide chairs are pretty amazing, and obviously I adore the concrete top on the dining table, especially paired with the brushed brass legs.
Here’s the gorgeousness that everyone else came up with and what they had to say about their designs…

Designer In Teal | Navy & Gold Dining Room
I immediately fell in love with this month’s color inspiration. The first word that popped into my head was Nautical. I wanted to use it in a dining room application, so I had to give it some sophistication. Navy is one of my favorite hues and I love the contrast of the coral and gold against it.

Cleverly Inspired | Bright Office Mood Board
I love this color palette… soft but yet dynamic too. It made me think up an office mood board in coral and navy, ready to spark lots of creativity. I think my favorite part is the lights…. so fun! They look like bubbles hanging in the air.

Carissa Miss | Beachy Bathroom Mood Board
I had so much fun with this month’s collaboration because it went perfectly with the idea I had in my head for a space in my house. I’ve been thinking about the hall bathroom and how to make the most of the very small space. It’s going to be the shared bathroom between the two kids so I wanted to reflect both genders as well as have a more grown up feel. When Lizzie picked this inspiration palette, I knew it was meant to be!

The House of Grey | Sugared Hues Living Room
I love these colors together. I had fun coming up with a more girly living room than I would normally use in my own home, but now I’m kind of obsessed with that rug.
